Description
A multi-family high-rise development is defined as a project with a common entrance servicing all units. A
high-rise building is considered 10 storeys in height and over. Rental projects are also eligible. Any single-family projects should be submitted under categories 29 - 34; any large multifamily projects should be submitted under categories 36 - 38.
Requirements
Criteria (Category 36)
Entry will be judged on the following criteria:
- Exterior: architectural character, unique attributes including amenities, green space etc., curb appeal and integration of the project into its setting
- Interior: creative and innovative use of space including architectural detail and form
- Functionality of floor and site plans
- Environmental considerations (energy, comfort and health)
- Construction details/techniques to achieve industry best practices (ie. how project is integrated into the neighborhood, any challenges with zoning or variances, etc)
Requirements (Category 36)
- Completed online entry
- 12 digital images that best represent the project
- Four (4) showing development setting, architectural character, entrance to project, etc.
- Four (4) showing principal living areas
- Four (4) of your choice
- Floor and/or site plan
